Apr 20 Changelog

It's the big day, the Lawrence Tech Expo! Lots of improvements and tweaks in preparation for the Expo, but here are the highlights:

  • Sound effects! (Public Domain sound effects from FreeSound.org)
  • Player now explodes in a glorious storm of orange particles upon death.
  • You can press the minus and plus buttons (those two buttons next to Backspace) to cycle back and forth between levels.
  • The huge Splitters now hurt you. (The huge ones were feeling too lazy to damage you before, but they have been given a stern talking-to.)
  • The red Shooters' projectiles should be less obnoxious now.
    • Their overall duration has been slightly reduced.
    • Rather than disappearing after either 3 wall bounces or the time limit they have, they now only disappear after the time limit, but hitting walls will make the time limit shorter.
    • Deflected projectiles now change color to indicate they have been deflected.
    • Deflected projectiles no longer hurt the player.
    • Deflected projectiles will exist a bit longer than their non-deflected counterparts.

No matter what happens during the Expo and anything thereafter, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has followed the development of Circular Logic and has expressed interest in it, and encouraged me throughout this development period. Special thanks to Bryce Evans, Mars Ashton, Greg Johnson, and Harry Panourgias!
